skin tag fetal ultrasound case report by talented Dr wafaa ramadan

Facial skin tags are benign fleshy tumors. They are frequently preauricular, with this form representing the most common minor anomaly of the external ear

Preauricular skin tags have been associated with congenital abnormalities of the urinary tract  and hearing impairment  and they may occur in several congenital syndromes, including, for example, cat-eye syndrome and along with broader abnormalities of the skin in Beare–Stevenson cutis gyrata syndrome However, the finding of a skin tag of the chin has not been reported in association with any congenital syndrome. Isolated striated muscle hamartoma of the chin has been described in a number of infants, with no associated abnormalities.
